In-Kind Donations

This Is a Great Way to Re-purpose Many of Our Community’s Resources!

House of Neighborly Service and many of the Life Center partners accept in-kind donations of food, clothing, and small household items in addition to financial contributions. Please connect with them directly to find out their immediate needs and donation day/times. Life Center partners page

House of Neighborly Service Donations Only:

- In-kind donation area is located on east side of the Loveland Life Center, items are distributed to Loveland and Berthoud

FOOD donation area hours: Monday through Thursday 9:00-4:00 | First Thursday of each month Noon – 6:00 pm

CLOTHING donation hours: Monday-Wednesday, 9:00-4:00 | First Thursday of each month Noon – 6:00 pm

- Berthoud residents may donate food directly to the Berthoud Life Center during hours of operation

Berthoud donation hours: Tuesday/Thursday 9:00-5:00

Here’s a Quick List of the Most Used Items

Essential Food Items: canned vegetables, canned or dry beans, canned fruit, soup, tuna/salmon, peanut butter, rice, pasta, cereal, mac & cheese, and ramen/instant soup

Eat-and-go foods: small bottles of juice & other drinks, granola bars, power bars, pudding cups, and individual fruit snacks, and individual serving size cereal

Adult Clothing: please donate clean clothing: adult’s work and casual, shoes and accessories

Children’s clothing: clothing and shoes for children are always a need- pajamas, socks and underwear, and shoes (snow boots are needed in winter)

Toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorants, soap, kleenex, razors, feminine products, denture products, and bandaids

Baby items such as: diapers (especially larger sizes) and pull-ups/training pants, wipes, food & formula (especially milk-based formulas such as Enfamil), and baby shampoo

Educational items: books and games

Note: We cannot distribute home canned or homemade foods. Funds may be used where best needed.

Occasionally the clothing area becomes to full to accept clothing contributions. When this happens a sign will be posted.
